Computer running slow?

Following are some Spring Cleaning tips for your computer that can be done any time of year

  1. Run all the Windows updates - Custom level and pick everything
  2. Make sure your Anti-Virus program is up-to-date.
  3. Install or update spyware protection
  4. Install or update a spyware removing toolbar
  5. Delete Temporary Internet files, Cookies, Windows/temp files
  6. Run Windows Disk cleanup
    (don't forget to remove the old restore points)
  7. Defrag the hard drive with the program in System tools
